Pocket watch

This collection is the result of a challenge launched by the Museu do Relógio, to whom we are grateful for the fascination and dedication invested in the "Clock" and its broad meaning.
To this end, we created our Hora & Meia collection, which reflects the art of watchmaking, its evolution and our perception of time and its counting.
It was with the pocket watch that, for the first time, the valuable instrument for measuring time became an ornament of fashion, elegance and a symbol of social status. It was with this instrument that for the first time the jewelery and the mechanics of the machines merged in a magnificent symbiosis that lasts until today.
For some the only male jewelry allowed. For many others, an object of collection and admiration, all watches tell a story. And we drew from this story for our inspiration, the watchmaker's art, the mechanical engineering of the watch, its design and fashion its evolution. These will be themes to be explored in this Rodilha theme.
